Filing of Notice of Claim against the Department of Education for $5.5 Million Dollars in damages on behalf of Kristoff John a 15 year old High School student who was assaulted and beaten by George Westinghouse Career and Technical High School Shop Teacher and Security Dean Stephen Hudson.

A shocking video surfaced of a 15 year old boy being beat by his teacher and security dean at the Brooklyn High School, George Westinghouse Technical Education. The principal is accused of covering up this beating.

“A Notice of Claim will be filed on June 29th 2012 for damages on behalf of Kristoff John who was assaulted and beaten by Westinghouse Career and Technical High School Shop Teacher and Security Dean Stephen Hudson. In addition, a criminal investigation by the office of Special Commissioner of Investigation Richard J. Condon has been requested with regard to the issue of criminality”. – Attorney Sanford Rubenstein.

The only punishment for the physical disciplinary action by Hudson was a letter to his personnel file from the principal. “The chancellor was disturbed by the video footage and believed the disciplinary action given the teacher was inadequate ” – schools spokeswoman, Jessica Scaperotti.
