He has also obtained settlements of $2.5 million for a young boy injured by a drunk driver in a car accident, $2.5 million for a man involved in a severe New York auto accident on his way home from work, and $1.9 million for a Florida dentist and his wife injured in a pedicab. $3 million was awarded to the family of a man killed when shot by a New York police officer. Mr. Rynecki has worked on numerous cases against the City of New York and the New York City Police Department involving incidents of police brutality and violations of the civil rights of individuals. Mr. Rynecki played an instrumental role in the $8.75 million settlement in the case of a man sodomized by a police officer in a New York City Police Precinct bathroom, as well as $2 Million Dollar recovery for the family of an 18 year old boy beaten to death by other inmates at Rikers Island Correctional Facility.
